About Clifton Landscaping

On a clear morning in Midland, small planes lift off from the Warrenton-Fauquier Airport and bank low over hayfields and barns. From up there, southern Fauquier County must look like a patchwork quilt, and the yards set among the fields are some of its brightest squares. Clifton Landscaping, a landscaping outfit, tends those lawns in a community that still feels wide open and rooted in the land. Spring moves quickly here once it starts — the pastures green up almost overnight, and a mowing schedule that keeps up stops a lawn from going shaggy before the redbuds have faded. A neat border and a level stripe of mown grass may look small from the ground, but from a thousand feet up they're exactly what makes a home stand out.
