About Purus LLC

Nothing in Mechanicsville is emptier than the lots along Bell Creek Road at one in the morning with freezing rain coming down and every storefront dark. Purus LLC works that hour — plowing the lanes, clearing the aprons and fire lines, breaking ice at the door thresholds where the first person in will step. Snow here is rarely deep and often mean, arriving as sleet or a hard glaze, which puts the whole job on the salt and the timing of it. Done right, morning simply happens: cars pull in, doors open, nobody slides. The truck is long gone by then, back out toward the next lot with the wipers going.
