About Kjlc Landscape Management

Winter arrives in Hanover County sideways — a night of sleet out of the northeast rather than a storybook snow — and by four in the morning the driveways off Cold Harbor Road are glazed hard as glass. That is the hour Kjlc Landscape Management is already moving, plow down, headlights swinging across frozen fescue and the long open fields beyond. Clearing lanes and lots around Mechanicsville is less about depth than timing: break the ice and lay the salt before the first bus takes the hill. There is a plain satisfaction in pavement scraped bare while the sky is still the color of slate. By the time the county is awake, nobody has to think about it, and that is the whole idea.
