About Impressive Services

The bridges freeze first around here — the low crossings toward Meadow Bridge glaze over while the road on either side is still merely wet. Impressive Services treats a snow night in Mechanicsville with that in mind, plowing driveways and lots and salting the spots that turn treacherous well before anywhere else does. Clearing right up to the garage door and out to the mailbox, instead of just a lane down the middle, is the difference people remember in the morning. A heavy wet Hanover County snow is short-lived but perfectly serious while it lasts. The measure of the night's work is a bare, black driveway at sunrise.
