About Powers Tree & Lawn Services

Meadowview is a town that understands patience with growing things: on its research farms, people have spent decades coaxing the American chestnut back toward the forests it once filled. Powers Tree & Lawn Services works in that same spirit, tending the lawns that spread beneath the shade trees of this corner of Washington County. In late summer, when the heat hangs low over the fields and the grass shoots up after every afternoon storm, the mower keeps everything in proportion. The aim is a yard that frames its trees instead of competing with them — even turf, trimmed edges around the trunks, room to look up into the branches. It is groundwork with the long view in mind, in a place that knows what it means to tend something for generations.
