About DRK Enterprises

Meadows of Dan sits near three thousand feet on the crest of the Blue Ridge, where fog comes up the Dan River gorge and freezes onto the fence wire before it ever reaches the ground. DRK Enterprises plows that high country — Parkway-side lanes, farm drives, the properties where a storm means real accumulation with a real wind behind it. Drives are opened end to end and pushed back wide, so the second and third day of snow still has somewhere to go. Steps and walkways get the shovel and a heavy salt pass, since up here the melt refreezes almost as fast as it runs. Patrick County weather does not negotiate, so the work starts before daylight.
