Wingfield Excavating and Landscaping

About Wingfield Excavating and Landscaping

Martinsville, the Henry County seat, sits in rolling foothill country where winter more often brings a skim of ice than a deep snow, and the streets that climb its hills can turn slick in an hour. Wingfield Excavating and Landscaping, an excavating and landscaping business, clears snow when a storm does reach Martinsville, opening up drives and walkways for hillside homes that need to get moving again. Ground is the business here, and a snow day is just ground under a different cover. In a town with a long history of mills and furniture making, there is still respect for a job carried all the way through. The reward is plain to see: driveways scraped clean to the asphalt, the edges square, and the morning easing back into Uptown.
