About The Tree Surgeon LLC

Out around Marshall the land runs in long hayfields and hedgerows, stone walls disappearing back into the woods, the Blue Ridge close enough west to change the weather without asking. The Tree Surgeon LLC keeps the trees in that country working: pruning old apple and maple beside a farmhouse, trimming the locust and cedar that crowd a board fence, removing a hollow oak before it takes the fence down with it. October wind through Ashby Gap can lay a whole limb across a lane overnight, and clearing it is part of what we do. We take the tree down carefully, we take the debris away, and the field is left looking as if the tree simply moved on. Farm lanes, village lots, and all the ground between them.
