About My Skylights
The ground out by Manassas Regional Airport is wide open, and in a storm the wind takes the snow and lays it back down wherever it likes — you can clear a lane and watch it fill behind you. My Skylights takes on exactly that sort of winter work, plowing and clearing so that drives and walks are passable when people need them and not three hours later. The skill is in reading the storm: where the drift will build, where the wind comes across, what has to be cut back before the temperature drops and locks it in. There is a plain, good feeling in finishing a lot at first light and seeing it dark and wet and open. Manassas and the towns around it are all within reach when the forecast turns.
