Elmer's Lawn & Garden

About Elmer's Lawn & Garden

Manassas is a railroad town at heart, and on a snowy weekday the first commuter train out of the historic depot sets the clock for everyone in Old Town. Elmer's Lawn & Garden offers snow removal in the city, shoveling out driveways and walkways for early risers who need to make their start without wading. Northern Virginia snow can change its mind by the hour, sleet, then powder, then slush, so the job is about timing as much as shovel work. A lawn and garden business knows what lies under the white, and the aim is a path that comes clean without scarring the ground beside it. Done right, there is a clear way from door to curb by the time the trains are rolling.
