About Edwin's Tree & Garden LLC

An ice storm in north Arlington comes on quietly — Military Road glazing over, the woods along Gulf Branch ticking as the branches take on weight. Edwin's Tree & Garden LLC works those nights and the mornings after: plowing the long sloped driveways of Old Glebe, shoveling steps and walks, salting the shaded runs where the sun never quite lands. Ice is the harder half of an Arlington winter, and it rewards getting there early rather than getting there fast. By breakfast the pavement is dark and dry and a car can back out without a second thought. Snow and ice, driveway by driveway, until the county thaws.
