About Hamby’s Lawn Care & Maintenance LLC

Nothing around here lies flat for long. Yards in Madison Heights tilt — toward the river on one side, toward the long green back of Tobacco Row Mountain on the other — and cutting them is as much reading the ground as running the machine. Hamby's Lawn Care & Maintenance LLC takes those slopes in May, when the red clay is soft and everything grows at once, and again through the slower weeks of fall. Mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups, done so a hillside lot reads as one whole piece instead of a dozen awkward corners. There is plain pleasure in standing at the bottom of a finished yard and seeing the cut run true all the way to the top.
