About Viewpoint Tree Service

Stand at the top of the old stone steps downtown in the evening and Lynchburg lays itself out — rooftops, the river going copper, the hills stepping back into haze. Viewpoint Tree Service spends its days inside that view, one yard at a time: removals where a trunk has crept too close to a chimney, crown thinning that lets a sunset back into a living room, pruning that holds a street tree off the wires. After a storm we start early, cutting a way through so people can get down the hill. The trade rewards patience — read the lean, set the ropes, take it in pieces. Then load the last of it and leave the yard looking like a Sunday.
