Myers & Rhodes

About Myers & Rhodes

The old streets on Garland Hill were laid out for horses, and they still hold snow the way a cupped hand holds water. Myers & Rhodes takes the narrow work: shovels down the brick walks, steps cleared corner to corner, a path opened from the door to wherever the car actually sits. Plowing for the drives that will take a truck, patient hand clearing for the ones that will not. Ice gets treated before it can set under the deep porch shadows. In a Lynchburg winter, the whole job comes down to giving a person somewhere safe to step.
