Green Goat

About Green Goat

Up on College Hill the streets are narrow and the yards are steep, small in square footage and large in effort. Green Goat mows, trims and edges those hillside lawns through the warm months and turns to plowing and shoveling when Lynchburg goes white. Steep ground gets cut with care, tight walks get trimmed by hand, and in winter those same walks get cleared and salted where the grade would otherwise send you sliding. Nothing about a hill neighborhood is standard, so the work bends to each address. A steep little yard cut clean is one of the better sights in this city.
