About Alto Tree Service

Lynchburg wakes with river fog in the low streets and sun already on the hilltops — seven hills' worth of old shade trees, most of them planted by people who never expected them to get this big. Alto Tree Service works up and down those grades: removals on lots too steep to back a truck onto, trimming that lifts a canopy off a Rivermont porch roof, pruning that takes weight out of an oak before the next line of weather crosses the Blue Ridge. When wind pulls a poplar across a driveway, we are the crew that gets the car out before work. The job is not finished when the saw stops; it is finished when the drive is swept and the cuts look intentional. Hill by hill, that is the trade.
