Late August along Sugarland Run the grass slows down, the cicadas take over the afternoon, and yards around Lowes Island want shaping more than cutting. Santos landscape works both ends of that — mowing and trimming through the season, plus edging, bed definition, mulching, shrub and hedge trimming, and cleanups once the leaves finally come down. A bed edged to a clean curved shoulder changes the whole front of a house, and that curve is worth doing by hand. The Potomac keeps this corner of Loudoun humid and growing well past when it ought to stop. Ashburn, Sterling and Great Falls are all a short run up the road.
