About Stumpbusters Tree Service, LLC

Louisa County is red clay and rolling pasture, hardwood ridges giving way to pine, and a stump can sit in a lawn for a decade reminding everybody of a storm nobody misses. Stumpbusters Tree Service, LLC takes the tree down and then finishes the job — grinding the stump below grade until there is nothing left but a bed of chips and a spot ready for grass. Trimming keeps the pecans and maples off a roofline, and out on the farm roads it keeps a lane wide enough for a hay wagon to pass. Summer evenings here run long and green, and there is a particular pleasure in walking a yard at dusk once the grinder has cooled and the ground is level again. Nothing dramatic. Just a lawn that finally goes all the way to the fence.
