Stratton's Lawn Care

About Stratton's Lawn Care

The hardest winter weather Louisa gets is often not snow at all but glaze — freezing rain that silvers every pine needle and leaves the county creaking by morning. Stratton's Lawn Care is out in it, plowing the drives, cutting a path along walkways and steps, and putting salt where ice has bonded itself to the concrete. Wet Virginia snow is heavy and it sets quickly, so timing matters a good deal more than the totals on the forecast. There is a fine feeling in having a rural driveway open again before the school buses start their loop. Stratton's covers Louisa, Mineral, Bumpass and Cuckoo.
