Chris' Lawncare

About Chris' Lawncare

On a June evening the town of Louisa goes quiet around the courthouse square, and the sound that carries farthest across the neighborhoods is somebody finishing a lawn. Chris' Lawncare is often that sound — mowing, edging, string trimming, and sweeping the clippings off the walk before the truck heads home. Autumn brings leaf cleanups, and by midwinter the same yards need plowing, shoveled walkways, and salt on the steps where frost lingers into the afternoon. Central Virginia will hand you eighty degrees in March and ice in the same month, so the work simply follows whatever the sky decides. Louisa, Mineral, Cuckoo and Ferncliff are all within the day's run.
