About Baskfield Lawn Services

The first frost in Louisa County shows up on the hayfields before it shows anywhere else — a white haze lying in the low ground that burns off by nine. Baskfield Lawn Services works the whole arc of that year, mowing and trimming through the long piedmont summer, clearing the yard when the hardwoods drop, then plowing snow and opening drives and walks once winter settles over the red clay. Storms here tend to come in wet and heavy, the kind that bends the pines and has to be moved before it freezes solid overnight. A drive cleared all the way to the road and a lawn cut level to the fence line are both worth doing properly. Baskfield serves Louisa, Mineral, Trevilians and Bumpass.
