About Barton & Boyd Inc

Louisa sits in the middle of Virginia's Piedmont, where a single winter night can bring snow, sleet and freezing rain in turn and leave the red-clay hills glazed by morning. Barton & Boyd Inc handles snow removal around Louisa, opening up driveways and front walks so the day can start without a slip. Snow here changes character from storm to storm, wet and heavy one time, light and drifting the next, and the work adapts to whatever is lying on the ground. There is pride in turning a buried driveway back into a usable one: sides cut back, the path wide enough, the way out obvious. When the sun clears the hills around the county seat, the job is already behind it.
