About Stoneman Construction & Landscaping

Down where the old road met the Occoquan at Colchester, the crossing was in use long before anyone thought to mow a lawn beside it. Stoneman Construction & Landscaping works both ends of Lorton's year on that same ground, plowing and shoveling when winter shuts the drives, then mowing, trimming and edging once March turns everything green again. Virginia's shoulder seasons hedge their bets, a warm week inviting the first cut while a cold snap sends the plow back out. Meeting the weather where it actually is, rather than where the calendar claims, is most of the job. What comes of it is a property that looks kept in every month of the year.
