Ruppert Landscape

About Ruppert Landscape

When a coastal storm swings inland, Lorton takes the wet, heavy kind of snow that bends the pines along Ox Road and needs the whole night to move. Ruppert Landscape works in it, plowing drives and lots, clearing walkways down to the surface and putting salt where the melt would otherwise set hard before sunrise. Snow here often arrives with sleet folded into it, so the job is as much about breaking crust as pushing depth. There is something worth standing behind in a lot that is black and dry when the first cars pull in. Lorton and the towns around it, storm by storm.
