About NVA Home Services

Northern Virginia rarely gets a clean snow. It gets the December storm that starts as rain, turns over near midnight and glazes everything by four in the morning. NVA Home Services works that shift, plowing drives, clearing the path from the door to the car and salting the slick spots where ice sets hardest. In Lorton the driveways run down off clay slopes toward the street, and a half-finished clearing simply refreezes at the bottom. Doing it right means going back over the low ground and putting salt where the water actually runs. The measure of the night is a driveway someone can walk out onto without thinking twice.
