Independence Landscape

About Independence Landscape

The first train out of the Lorton station leaves in the dark, which means a driveway has to be open before it. Independence Landscape plows and shovels against that deadline, drives cleared, walks scraped down to the surface, salt laid on the ice that forms when a January thaw refreezes overnight. In the green months the same attention goes into mowing, trimming and edging, holding lawns even from the first spring flush to the final cut of fall. Northern Virginia weather swings hard, and matching it means turning up on the ugly mornings as readily as the pleasant ones. Lorton and its neighboring towns get it both ways.
