Brandon Rushing Lawn & Garden Care

About Brandon Rushing Lawn & Garden Care

October along the Occoquan turns the sycamores gold, and the old brick kilns down at the regional park stand in the low sun as if waiting for the season to turn. Brandon Rushing Lawn & Garden Care follows that turn with the last mows of the year, the trimming and edging, and the leaves cleared off the beds before frost sets in. Come January the work changes to plowing and shoveling, driveways opened, walkways scraped and salt put where the ice wants to hold. There is quiet pleasure in a garden bed cut clean at its border and a lawn that goes into winter tidy. Lorton and the towns beside it get both halves of the year from the same hands.
