About Southland Services LLC

The Rapidan runs north of Locust Grove past the old fords, brown and quick after a rain and shallow and quiet the rest of the year. Southland Services LLC works both sides of the calendar in that country — mowing, edging and trimming Orange County lawns from spring into fall, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the cold finally settles in for good. River-bottom mornings fog up thick enough to lose the far fence line entirely. Whatever the season is doing, the measure stays the same: turf at an even height, or asphalt showing black by daylight. That is the shape of a year out here.
