About Randy Hostetter Excavating LLC

North of Lexington the road follows the Maury up toward Goshen Pass, and the lanes running off it are gravel, long and steep. When a storm comes over the Alleghenies, those are the first drives to close and the last to open. Randy Hostetter Excavating LLC clears them — plowing driveways, farm lanes and parking areas across Rockbridge County, shoveling out walkways, treating ice before the morning traffic. There is a particular quiet at five in the morning with the blade down and nothing on the road but your own lights. By breakfast a family can get out, and that is the entire job.
