About Jerry's Lawn Care Services

Route 11 runs the length of the valley past Lexington and carries every kind of weather the Alleghenies send east. Jerry's Lawn Care Services meets both halves of that year — mowing, edging and trimming while the pastures are green to the fence line, then plowing, shoveling and salting when a January system drops through the gap and glazes every driveway in Rockbridge County. Snow here does not always fall deep, but it falls hard and it falls at four in the morning. The last drive on the list is the one worth waiting for: cleared to the pavement, salt down, headlights swinging back toward town. Then April comes, and the mowers go out again.
