About Garrett Landscapes

Down along the Maury the sycamores stand white-limbed over water the color of green glass, and the bottomland grass grows faster there than anywhere else in Rockbridge County. Garrett Landscapes keeps up with it — mowing, trimming, edging, the steady weekly rounds that keep a Lexington yard from getting ahead of anybody. Summer in this valley is humid and green and relentless, and there is real satisfaction in meeting it head on. A lawn cut on Thursday looks like a lawn cut on Thursday: even, striped, tidy at every fence post and mailbox. That is the whole of it, and it is enough.
