About Mo & J's Yardwork LLC

Afternoon on this stretch of the Northern Neck moves slow: the ferry crosses at Merry Point, marsh grass leans with the tide, and somebody's yard runs right down to where the mown line meets the wild one. Mo & J's Yardwork LLC works that line — mowing, string trimming, hedges shaped back off the porch rail, brush and yard debris hauled clear. The pleasure is in the last pass, when the mower turns for home and the stripes sit straight against a fence. Cleanups at either end of the year keep the beds from vanishing under pine straw. It is yard work in the plain sense of the phrase, and Lancaster County still knows exactly what that means.
