About TNK Home & Lawn: "The Neighbor's Kid" LLC

The worst part of any northern Virginia storm is the ridge the plow leaves across the end of the driveway — wet, dense, half ice by the time anybody gets to it. TNK Home & Lawn, "The Neighbor's Kid," shows up for exactly that: driveways and walkways cleared, front steps opened, the path to the mailbox made passable on the cul-de-sacs around Lake Barcroft. In the warm months the same trucks come back for mowing, trimming, edging and hauling, the ordinary weekly upkeep that keeps a property from slipping. Cleanups bracket the year at both ends, beds cleared out in March and leaves taken away in November. It is the neighborly shape of the work: whatever the yard needs, done before you would have gotten to it yourself.
