About Landscapes By Peel

Snow in northern Virginia arrives heavy and wet, and it arrives overnight — which is why headlights are already moving past the dam at four in the morning while the lake sits black and silent. Landscapes By Peel clears driveways and walks around Lake Barcroft ahead of the first commute, salting the steep pitches that drop toward the water, where a glaze of ice does more damage than six inches ever could. By April the same properties want the other half of the work: mowing, edging, mulch, beds shaped and planted so the yard reads composed from the street. Between those two ends of the year it is cleanups, trimming and steady upkeep. One cleared drive at dawn and one cut lawn in June belong to the same set of houses.
