John-Michael’s Lawn Care

About John-Michael’s Lawn Care

Saturday morning on the back roads through Owens and Comorn is a slow parade of trailers and mowers, and John-Michael's Lawn Care is one of them, rolling out before the dew is gone. The work is plain and done properly: mowing on a schedule, string trimming fence lines and mailbox posts, edging the walks, hauling off whatever the season has dropped. Yards out here run big and irregular, with ditches and pines and the odd stump nobody ever pulled. Learning a lawn takes a few visits; after that it cuts like it was made for the machine. By early afternoon the ramp goes up and another set of yards is squared away for the week.
