Tough Cuts Tree and Scapes

About Tough Cuts Tree and Scapes

Wind out of the northwest crosses the Rappahannock and reaches Kilmarnock with nothing standing in its way, and in January it can bring ice along. Tough Cuts Tree and Scapes takes those days with plow and shovel — driveways opened, walks and steps cleared, salt down on the slick patch by the door. In the growing season the same hands are on mowers and trimmers, cutting lawns, edging borders and hauling away brush and yard waste. Something plain and good comes of a scraped drive under a hard blue sky, and of a June lawn cut level from the road to the tree line. The Northern Neck asks for both, and both get done.
