About Zack’s Top Notch Tree Services

Hurt sits on the Staunton River with Altavista just across the water, its streets running back up the hill from the bank in a mill town's grid. Zack's Top Notch Tree Services covers this corner of Pittsylvania County — removals where a riverbank sycamore has lost its footing, trimming to get limbs off porch roofs and driveways, pruning that keeps a yard tree inside its bounds. Storms track up the river valley and hit hard and briefly, and what they leave is somebody's morning ruined: a split crown, a drive blocked, a fence pinned under a limb. That is a cleanup call, and the ground gets raked before the truck pulls out. The river keeps going, the yard looks square again, and that is a good day.
