Philyaw's Lawn Care

About Philyaw's Lawn Care

September turns Hopewell back into a schedule — buses on the neighborhood loops, evenings closing in a little sooner, the fescue waking up again after the worst of the heat. Philyaw's Lawn Care keeps the cul-de-sacs and side streets on their weekly rhythm: mowing, trimming, edging along curbs and walks, leaf cleanup as the season deepens, and seasonal yard cleanups. Fall is the kindest stretch of the year for grass in this part of Virginia, and a lawn tended through it goes into winter strong. Pulling out of a driveway with the clippings blown off the concrete and the edge sharp is the point of the whole trip. Hopewell and the nearby parts of Prince George and Colonial Heights are on the list.
