About Harmon Turf Services Inc

Summer nights on the Blue Ridge plateau cool off enough that the grass around Hillsville keeps growing well after the lowlands have quit. Harmon Turf Services Inc works with that long green season — mowing on a regular cycle, trimming out fence lines and foundations, edging walks and drives, clearing the cuttings behind. Lawns up here sit among hayfields and pasture, so a tended yard reads clean against all that rough green. Getting the cut height right for mountain turf is half the craft, and the even color that follows is the proof of it. From the first flush in May to the slow weeks of October, the rhythm holds.
