Snow Removal

About Snow Removal

Winter storms track up the coast and swing inland to Herndon wet and heavy, the kind of snow that bends the cedars over the sidewalk. Snow Removal is built for exactly that — plowing, shoveling walks, and clearing the aprons where the county plow leaves its wall at the end of a driveway. Work starts in the dark, so that by the time the school buses try the street the route is done and the salt is already working. Commercial lots get the same treatment, opened wide with lanes clear and entrances passable. When the sky finally quits, the trucks go back out to push the leftovers into neat banks well off the pavement.
