About J E D's Lawn Care & Svc LLC

The rail line still runs straight through Gretna, the way it did when the place was called Franklin Junction, and yard work here keeps a similar rhythm — regular, unhurried, on time. J E D's Lawn Care & Svc LLC mows and trims through the long Southside summer, edges the walks and drives, and hauls off the leaves when the hardwoods let go in November. Winter brings the other list: plowing, shoveling walkways, and putting down salt where sleet has set up hard overnight. Saturday mornings in town, one yard after another going from shaggy to squared away, make the week. Gretna and nearby Chatham, Hurt, Blairs and Altavista.
