Hammock's Land and Lawn

About Hammock's Land and Lawn

Gretna sits in tobacco country, hayfields and pine edges rolling off toward the Banister River, and the growing season here is generous. Hammock's Land and Lawn keeps pace with it — mowing, trimming, edging, and the spring and fall cleanups that clear out leaves and let a yard breathe again. When January finally bites, the same crew turns to snow: plowing driveways, shoveling walkways, treating ice at the steps and along the north side of the house. A property looked after all twelve months starts to look like one thought rather than twelve. Gretna, Chatham, Hurt, Altavista and the roads between.
