Miller's Services

About Miller's Services

At Gloucester Point the York River is wide enough to make its own weather, and a system crossing it can turn to sleet in the final mile. Miller's Services works Hayes and the Point on those nights, plowing driveways, scraping walkways and treating the ice that sets up along the shaded side of a house. Wind off the water refreezes whatever melted at noon, so timing matters every bit as much as horsepower. They clear it, salt it, and come back around when it needs coming back to. Morning arrives and the driveway is simply a driveway again.
