About Cut It Up Tree Service

At Gloucester Point the York River opens wide and the wind off it never really quits — you can read it in the pines, every one of them combed a little to the west. Cut It Up Tree Service works these waterside lots, where salt air and shallow rooting make short careers of tall trees: removal when a trunk has gone punky at the base, trimming to keep limbs off the roof and the boat lift. Pruning near the water is about wind more than looks — a crown thinned so a gust passes through instead of taking it over. When a tropical system comes up the bay and litters the yard, they work it back down to bare grass. Then the view returns, the Coleman Bridge strung with lights across the water, and the place is ready for the next blow.
