About 7 Cities Environmental Service

Route 17 runs south out of Gloucester Point, over the water, toward the cluster of cities that gave this company its name. Snow is a guest on the Middle Peninsula, not a resident — it shows up once or twice a winter, usually at night, and turns everything unfamiliar by morning. 7 Cities Environmental Service watches those forecasts closely, because when river damp freezes onto pavement a driveway becomes a small emergency. They plow the drives and lots, shovel the walks, and treat the ice so a property is open and passable. It is a small job that decides how the rest of the day goes.
