About New Leaf Landscaping, Inc.

By mid-November the willow oaks and sweetgums around Hunton Park have given up entirely, and half of Glen Allen is ankle-deep in what used to be a canopy. New Leaf Landscaping, Inc. spends that stretch of the calendar hauling it away — leaves off the lawns, out of the beds, off the walks and gutters' edge — while putting a final clean cut on the grass underneath. Fescue smothered under wet leaves comes back thin in April, so the fall work is really spring work done early. There is something satisfying about a yard emptied down to bare green just as the cold sets in. The rest of the year the same crews keep it mowed, trimmed and edged so the leaves are the only thing left to fight.
