Ramey's Lawn Services

About Ramey's Lawn Services

Galax sits close to twenty-four hundred feet, and you feel every one of them in February when the wind comes across the open hills and packs snow against each garage door. Ramey's Lawn Services is moving before the town is, plowing driveways, clearing walkways and putting ice melt where the grade turns treacherous. Once the thaw finally holds, the same trucks come back for mowing, trimming and edging through the long green months. Neighbors know the sound both ways, a blade in the dark and a mower at nine in the morning. It is steady work in a place that keeps changing its mind about the weather.
