Crooked Creek Lawn & Maintenance

About Crooked Creek Lawn & Maintenance

Out toward Woodlawn the pastures roll away from Galax in long green folds, cut through by creek bottoms and old fence lines. Crooked Creek Lawn & Maintenance works those wide properties and the tighter town lots alike, mowing, string trimming, edging and hauling off what the season sheds. Come January the same ground goes hard and pale, and the work turns to plowing driveways and clearing walkways so a morning can start on time. There is a plain satisfaction in a lane that is open at first light when it was buried at midnight. Grass or snow, the measure is the same: you can see exactly where they have been.
