About JBR, INC.

The lots along the interstate at Massaponax have to be open before the first shift arrives, which means most of the work happens in the dark. JBR, INC. runs snow that way — plowing parking areas and drive lanes, stacking piles where they won't block sightlines, clearing entrances and sidewalks by hand, and salting the packed lanes before they glaze. A storm that begins at nine at night makes for a long night; one that begins at four in the morning makes for a longer one. Either way the aim holds steady: open pavement, painted lines showing, every door reachable. Fredericksburg wakes up and simply finds the day possible.
