Galvan's landscaping

About Galvan's landscaping

Autumn moves slowly this far inland; the oaks around Spotsylvania Courthouse hold their leaves into November, long after the maples have given theirs up. Galvan's landscaping works both halves of that season around Fredericksburg, mowing while the grass is still growing and then clearing leaves off the turf so nothing mats down over the winter. Summer is the mowing and trimming rhythm, week in and week out, with the edges cut where a yard meets pavement. Cold mornings make the best work days, frost burning off the field grass and the air sharp enough to keep everybody moving. A yard raked clean before the first hard freeze comes back thicker in April.
